The insta famous Sea Cliff Bridge Lookout! This walk is only for experienced hikers as it's not safe for kids, but the lookout is brilliant.
PALONA CAVE WALK, ROYAL NATIONAL PARK
A hidden gem in Royal National Park is Palona Cave Walk. It's an easy 30 minute walk to get to the cave, perfect for families.
BLUE MOUNTAINS (and nearby)
There's so much more to the Blue Mountains than the Three Sisters. Get yourself a hire car if you don't already have one and go and explore our hidden gems in Blue Mountains. There's so many things to do in Blue Mountains, you'll never get bored. From an amazing Japanese Bath House to visiting incredible lookouts and loads of awesome hikes.
CENTRAL COAST, NEWCASTLE & HUNTER VALLEY REGION
After living in Newcastle for nearly a year, I can honestly say there's a lot more to this once industrial city than most think. From incredible beaches, excellent restaurants and loads of quirky and unique places to visit, Newcastle makes for a great weekend away from Sydney.
In the area you'll find the Hunter Valley, Australia's most famous wine region as well the Central Coast further down the coast and the incredible Port Stephens up the coast. Port Stephens is home to the Southern Hemisphere's largest sand dunes, as well as a harbour twice the size of Sydney Harbour! There's so many resident dolphins, that it's pretty much guaranteed you'll spot some. Port Stephens also has loads of activities for kids so it's a great weekend away for families.

MID-NORTH COAST
The Mid-North Coast is one of the best areas of NSW to explore. Here you'll find the absolutely beautiful Seal Rocks & Blueys Beach in Pacific Palms and the incredible Ellenborough Falls which is the third largest single drop waterfall in Australia. Don't forget to visit South West Rocks which has a fantastic camping ground on the beach and of course Bellingen, our favourite small town in NSW. Here you'll find some of the best walks in NSW at Dorrigo National Park, as well as some incredible waterfalls to swim in. It's an explorer's paradise!
ELLENBOROUGH FALLS VIDEO
Ellenborough Falls is the third largest single drop waterfall in Australia! Situated near to Taree on the Mid-North Coast, it's a 4 hour drive from Sydney. Find out more about this beautiful waterfall to visit.
BYRON BAY
Everyone's favourite holiday destination is the beautiful coastal town of Byron Bay. Whilst it has become incredibly popular over time, it still has the charm it had years ago. If you're looking to go on holiday to a buzzing coastal town which has excellent food, fantastic shopping, and plenty of beaches to discover, then Byron Bay is the place for you. Make sure you take the time to check out the beautiful Byron Hinterland as well, it's stunning!
