BEST SYDNEY BEACHES & WATERFALLS

We've searched high and low to find some of the best beaches in Sydney! You'll be surprised as there's so many hidden beaches right in the middle of the city! We've also been on a mission to find some of the best Sydney waterfalls to swim in as well. Whilst many require a short 30 minute walk or so, all are absolutely stunning!  

CITY WALKS IN SYDNEY

We've put together some of the best city walks in Sydney so you don't need to travel far. If you need to get away from everyone without technically leaving the city, you'll find some of our favourite walks to some of the lesser known spots.

ROYAL NATIONAL PARK WALKS (and nearby)

The Royal National Park is just a 1 hour drive South of Sydney and there's some spectacular walks to explore, such as the insta famous Wedding Cake Rock and Figure 8 Pools. Whilst there's so many walks and waterfalls to discover, you could easily spend every weekend exploring Royal National Park for months! We're also including Sydney walks a bit further south of The Royal National Park such as the famous Sea Cliff Bridge Lookout and the infamous Gerringong Falls.

PALONA CAVE WALK, ROYAL NATIONAL PARK

SEACLIFF BRIDGE LOOKOUT

The Sea Cliff Bridge along the Grand Pacific Drive in the Illawarra is the second most photographed bridge in NSW. There's a famous spot to photograph it but it's only safe for experienced hikers to get to. Read more about Sea Cliff Bridge in our guide below.



BLUE MOUNTAINS WALKS

We've been really lucky to explore a lot of the Blue Mountains. Even though it's just 1h30m away from Sydney and easy to get to via public transport, Blue Mountains is a must visit for everyone! There are so many hidden gems to discover which we share with you in our Blue Mountains guides below.

MORE NSW WALKS TO DISCOVER

If you're looking for more NSW walks a bit further away from Sydney, here's some of our favourites we've visited. We recommend checking out the Mid-North Coast as there's some fantastic waterfalls and hikes to visit around the area of Bellingen & Dorrigo National Park. This would make a fantastic long weekend from Sydney as it's about a five hour drive, but totally worth it.
