Annie even appeared on BBC World News where she reported on the situation with the 2019 NSW bushfires.

Annabel and Stephen have also both featured in The Times, where we detailed our story about emigrating to Australia, and the challenges and opportunities we were presented with before Annabel could finally call Australia home. We both have a great wealth of advice to share on moving to Australia and how to live your best life as an expat, so you can make your transition as smooth as possible.

And we understand how difficult it is as an expat to find a place to settle. We have also both appeared on our own episode of House Hunters International which aired on HG TV where we shared our experiences finding a new home in Sydney. Just don’t ask Steve about the blue bathroom or why he was obsessed with granite cook tops. Strange things happen on TV.

10 Things About Annie 

1. It was love at first sight when I met Steve - I knew he was the one as soon as I saw him!

2. People are always shocked to hear I have never drank a cup of coffee in my life.

3. Most Australians think I'm on holiday here because I still have a strong British accent!

4. I have what Steve calls 'selective sensitivity sound syndrome' where I find specific sounds too unbearable like slurping.

5. I have a BA(hons) degree in Fine Art Painting and I haven't painted anything since. 

6. My favourite travel moment was hiking to Everest Base Camp in 2018. It was honestly mind blowing!

7. I think I'm really funny and will most likely be the only one in a room laughing at my own jokes! 

8. I've done loads of random challenges; a couple of 12 day silent meditation retreats, 10 day juice cleanses, nearly a month on a liquid diet (to help with my gut issues) and I've ran 3 half marathons. One day I'll conquer a full marathon. 

9. My favourite movies are Coming To America and Cocktail, and I quote them ALL THE TIME.

10. Happiness to me is swimming in the ocean every day, hiking and finding hidden gems I can share with you. 

10 Things About Steve 

1. I've travelled to over 60 countries and been on loads of around the world backpacking trips - I don't think I'll ever stop! 

2. I'm obsessed with planes and could watch Air Crash Investigation all day long - even while travelling on a plane! 

3. I used to be in a heavy metal band as the lead singer and guitarist. 

4. My world is over if a restaurant serves me a terrible meal - food is life - especially sushi!

5. I just Love cats & dogs & ducks. All animals seem to flock to me when I'm around them!

6. I'm a (hot) chip connoisseur and will happily debate the quality of decent chips and of course the dips to go with it. Long live Belgian Fries.

7. I manage to get myself into hospital pretty much in every country I visit. My taxi driver assisted the doctor whilst they bandaged my arm up after a paragliding accident in a remote part of India once! 

8. I was in a Bollywood movie during a visit to Mumbai called 'Old As Gold'. Go check it out!

9. In a previous life, I used to be an Audio Engineer and mixed bands. My claim to fame was mixing the music for the band of the brother who sang the Home & Away theme tune, Tina Arena & Mental As Anything. 

10. My uncle was an extra in loads of classic Aussie movies such as Muriels Wedding & Strictly Balloon!
