You might know by now that I love Byron Bay. Every time I drive past the “Welcome to Byron, chill out” sign, I instantly feel at home.
It’s a place that’s often very hit or miss with holiday makers and I can see why – most see it as a hippy town but others like me see it for it’s amazingly delicious, organic food, chilled vibes and friendly people, let alone it has absolutely stunning beaches and a gorgeous hinterland to go with it.

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Byron Bay that’s right on the beach, you’ve come to the right place. It’s a rare find in Byron to stay on the beach as the locals have managed to keep most of the coastline untouched without any building sites. And the reason why this is a rare find is, it turns out this beach house was once Byron’s fist pub!
