I’ve recently been asked for some fun date ideas in Sydney and I know if it were me, I’d prefer to go out and do something really fun rather than be constrained to dinner where it can get a bit awkward.

You’ll find everything from cheap date ideas in Sydney to anniversary date ideas in Sydney in this post. Even if you’re just looking for some fun things to do in Sydney with your friends, make sure you read this whole post.

I once took a guy out to Lazer Tag on a date and he absolutely loved it. It makes you stand out and at least makes you memorable. Best of all, doing something different will open up your personality and you’ll find out much quicker if you really get on and want to continue seeing them.

1. Go on a sunset cruise

Circular Quay

If you’re looking for romantic things to do in Sydney, look no further!

There are loads of sunset cruises to go on but which one is right for you? Here’s some of our favourites.

One of the best things we’ve ever done in Sydney was go on a Sydney Harbour Tall Ships Cruise which literally feels like a massive pirate ship. We took full advantage of the free wine and canapes and had an awesome time as we sailed around the harbour during sunset.

Check here to book your Sydney Harbour Tall Ships cruise >

If you’re looking for something extra special to do in Sydney – like ideas on where to propose in Sydney – check out THIS private tour which comes with a seafood dinner!
