10 Best Antique Shops in Sydney 2025 Guide

Whether you’re looking for the best antique shops in Sydney, we’ve got you covered. We have been a bit obsessed with antiques for a while. Being British, I naturally sway to buying more antique homewares in Sydney and wanted to share some of the best shops for you to discover too.

Interestingly, more younger people are interested in mid-century homewares in Sydney than you might have thought. Invest in some beautiful homewares you can keep forever and ditch the short term purchases from Ikea. Recently, we got chatting to someone who worked at Mitchell Road Antiques (mentioned in this post) and he told us about how people put so much Ikea furniture in landfill.

Don’t think antique or vintage furniture is expensive. All of the antique shops in Sydney mentioned in this article are much more affordable than you think. We are big fans of Indian antique furniture and mid-century furniture so hopefully some of these shops might inspire you.

Plus, these shops can easily take up a good chunk of time if you’re looking for things to do indoors in Sydney or date ideas in Sydney.
