Are you thinking about upgrading from the iPhone 6 to the iPhone 7 but not sure if it’s worth it? Here’s our review which shows the camera comparison.
As we are all aware, the new iPhone 7 came out today but the question we are all asking; is the camera any better than its predecessor, the iPhone 6?
Luckily for me, one of my colleague’s came flying into the office this morning with his brand new iPhone 7 Plus. It looks exactly the same size as the iPhone 6 Plus, so what is actually different about the iPhone 7?
So far, it’s running much faster, the headphone jack is now the charging output, and best of all, there are now 3 cameras – that’s one for your selfies and 2 for your normal images to create a better all round image.
2 cameras on the back of the new iphone 7
We decided to try out the new iPhone 7 camera and compare it to my (slightly broken screen) iPhone 6. This is what we noticed when comparing the iPhone 6 vs the iPhone 7 camera when taking a photo side by side:
Instantly the image is much sharper
The image is much, much clearer and brighter
The same image is captured slightly further away than the iPhone 6
Another thing we noticed is there is an awesome zoom button meaning you can now zoom in on your photos which still keeps its sharp focus, something iPhone 6 didn’t do so well.

We couldn’t believe the difference in the quality of the two images!!
One thing I totally forgot to mention is the fact that iPhone 7 is waterproof (that’s 1 metre’s worth too!!!!)
We also noticed that your images are stored in a more organised format, now using the following categories:
All Photos
People
Places
Selfies
Screenshots
Recently Deleted
One thing that I think most people are looking forward to especially the Instagrammers is the fact that when 10.1 IOS update launches in a few months, iPhone 7 Plus users will exclusively have access to the new camera feature which blurs the background of your images apparently as well as a DSLR. I AM SOLD!
Would you cash in and buy the new iPhone 7? Let me know in the comments below.
