This is my second instalment of the wide leg pants week. Yesterday I teamed my vintage black wide leg pants with a white shirt and a leather jacket to harden up a monochrome look. Today I’m showing the softer side of this look by using a palette of pastel colours to create a simple but chic outfit, perfect for summer.
I’ve had these Topshop trousers for a few years now and they are one of my favourites, purely for the classic but chic cut that will never go out of fashion. It’s always good to buy a pair which are a little on the larger side which will inevitably be more flattering than tight high waisted pants! I love the colour of this grey pair and I have teamed them with a H&M pale blue blouse which I took on my trip to Africa for 6 months. By hand washing throughout that trip has kept my clothes still wearable which is great as I love this shirt. I’m wearing a pair of old Primark sunnies which I love that pop of colour on the arms to add to a neutral outfit and my trusted white Next sandals.
